The Albemarle-Charlottesville NAACP hosts an online 5th Congressional District candidate forum Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Zoom.
Democratic nominee Tom Perriello and Independent Cooke Harvey are confirmed. Republican incumbent John McGuire was invited but will not attend because of a schedule conflict, according to the branch's Sept. 23 release.
The 5th District race also appears on Charlottesville and most Albemarle Nov. 3 ballots alongside a U.S. Senate contest and three constitutional amendments. Readers can find connection details on the branch's announcement page; the Zoom passcode is not republished here.
